Sakhi Trust works with women who suffer from a variety of grievances. We help those who are forced into the Devadasi system and encourage Dalit women, who belong to the most discriminated castes in India. Sakhi also supports labor class women and women affected by their work in mines by standing up for their rights and improving their living conditions and healthcare. Furthermore, legal training and income generation programs for a more sustainable lifestyle are being held.
